Editorial policy and sources
Use program listings as a starting point for research. These notes explain how to interpret the information and what to check before making a decision.
Directory information and official terms
FindAffiliates helps you compare affiliate programs. Directory information may include details submitted by program owners. A listing is not a guarantee that an application will be accepted, a referral will qualify, or a commission will be paid. Review the program owner or network’s current terms before applying or promoting an offer.
Sources and unknown details
An official program page, agreement or help article is the source to check for commission, attribution and payout conditions. A merchant submission alone is not independent verification. When a detail is not disclosed or cannot be confirmed, treat it as unknown. A missing commission is not a promised rate, and a longer cookie window does not guarantee attribution.
Added dates and source checks
An added date describes when a record entered the directory. A source check describes a review of a named source on a particular date. Adding or editing a record does not, by itself, verify its terms. Where a source and check date are provided, they describe that check only: program owners may change terms afterwards. Do not assume that every listing or every field has been independently checked.
Comparing programs
Compare audience fit, application eligibility, qualifying actions, commission basis, payment duration, payout conditions and regional restrictions together. A fixed signup reward, a percentage of the first payment and a recurring revenue share are different models. An advertised maximum is not what every referral earns. Rankings and featured placement are not a promise of results.
Commercial disclosure
Some outbound links may be affiliate, sponsored or paid partner links, or connected to paid listings. FindAffiliates may receive compensation through certain links. Compensation may influence placement, featuring or visibility. Read the affiliate and paid placement disclosures.
Report a correction
Send the listing or article URL, the detail you believe is incorrect, and a supporting official source to findaffiliatescontact@gmail.com. Do not include private account information or payment details.
